By means of these company principles we have been able during the last years to resolve a lot of specific problems together with our customers, among which the development of the patented TIN COAT^® procedure for the plating of aluminium pistons within the automotive engineering as well as a modern cleaning procedure for phosphoric acid.

Due to the foundation of the company Galvano Chemie Leipzig GmbH in 1992 as production plant within our group we are able to offer to our customers the toll production of finished products in the range of special metal salts for the surface technology.

Since 1994, Vopelius Chemie are operating within the international trade ensuring the importation of high quality raw materials by long-termed partnerships. In this connection the foreign trade department which has been founded in 1994 is operating mainly in Eastern Europe and Asia.

With our exportation business we are partners in most different chemical branches and we represent well known suppliers via our agencies at Moscow and Almaty.

Since 1995, we dispose of a branch office in China. Via our Chinese partner company GVCo at Guangzhou special products of Vopelius Chemie AG for the surface technology are provided.

In 2001, Vopelius Chemie GmbH was transformed into a stock corporation. Due to the merger with Galvano Chemie at Leipzig in the beginning of the year 2002, the further activities of Vopelius Chemie AG are zoomed on the production and processing of products for the surface technology of most different materials.

In 2003 occurred the acquisition of Soderec International SAS, at Pierrelatte/France - a company which is specialized in the production and distribution pf fluoric products . With this acquisition our range of products for the surface technology has been enlarged.

2007 in the 25th year of the existence of Vopelius Chemie AG the departments domestic trade and foreign trade were transferred to Leipzig, domicile of the production plant. The new division is responsible for the entire national distribution as well as the export business and by this means it will accommodate with the changes which have meanwhile taken place at the international markets.

The creation of strategic alliances with partners from the most different branches of our activities will ensure in future the maintenance and continuous development of the company.
